The first Greenwich Preservation Trust's Award was presented during National Historic Preservation Month.

The first Preservation LeadershipAward went to Russell and Debbie Reynolds for their effortless work on the Greenwich Historical Society to preserve old houses and cemeteries. Mr. Reynolds was the prime motivator in getting our third local historic district created. It was the first historic district to be created in 20 year. Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds restored their historic home to perfection. Celebration was held at the Bruce Museum where the Greenwich Preservation Trust's exhibit "Greenwich Lost & Preserved " was on view
